Java Engineer – Front Office – Low-Latency – Investment Bank

A leading Investment Bank are looking to hire an experienced Java Engineer to join their Front Office Low-Latency team to be a part of a multi-year modernisation project

What you'll be doing:

1. Design/develop high performance, low-latency applications for essential systems
2. Investigate and fix bottlenecks, optimising code performance
3. Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
4. Be a part of the full SDLC

What we are looking for:

1. Strong Core Java skills
2. Experience using low-latency systems
3. Experience with real time systems/event driven architectures
4. Understanding of latency-optimised libraries; knowledge of Disruptor/Aeron/Chronicle would be a benefit
5. Background in financial services or other low-latency industries
