About the role

In your role as DevOps & Security Engineer you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to assist in the development, build automation and security processes for the in-house developed solutions. The role involves maintaining and building CI/CD pipelines, enhancing automation test frameworks, and monitor & improve release processes.

The role is essential in ensuring our development functions continue to be able to deliver high quality solutions in a repeatable, error free manner.

What you will be doing

As a trusted part of the Operations team you will be responsible for:

  1. Collecting, analysing, and documenting technical/operational requirements from key IMS stakeholders.
  2. Implementing automation for IMS processes.
  3. Maintaining and improve software release and deployment processes.
  4. Knowledge share across the team with some mentoring from more senior member.
  5. Participating in team workshops.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have experience with:

  1. Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI / CD
  2. Atlassian Confluence, Jira and other associated products
  3. Languages: PowerShell / Python / C# / SQL

Desirable experience with:

  1. Cloud deployments to Microsoft products (Fabric, Synapse, Azure) or other
  2. Cloud deployments to Snowflake
  3. Testing frameworks & Testing tools (Xray, Zephyr etc.)
  4. Power BI Reporting and deployments
  5. Application security tools (SonarQube, GitHub Security etc.)
  6. Scheduling Systems (preferably JAMS)
  7. Expected to produce clear, concise, maintainable code.
  8. Ability to share knowledge and relevant technical experience.
