Description

Key elements of this role include the successful individual to:

- Own the enterprise risk framework across the group, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed or mitigated at group and entity level.

- Lead on market risk: commodity exposure, asset and charter risk, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk, including hedging strategy and execution.

- Manage credit and counterparty risk, particularly in the context of the group's trading and commercial activities.

- Lead on financial regulatory and compliance risk, monitoring the evolving regulatory environment and its implications for the group's financing and capital structure.

- Manage liquidity and working capital management risk in conjunction with the group's capital structure strategy

- Own the reporting and communication process with existing and prospective investors and joint venture partners providing institutional-grade financial reporting and strategic updates

- Oversee a team of senior finance professionals across the group, including finance operations.

Profile

A successful Head of Risk should have:

• Proven experience in risk management and compliance, ideally within a trading house environment
• A strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards.
• Highly commercial and robust approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications in risk management or compliance

Job Offer

• Salary of £150,000 to £180,000, dependent on the level of experience.
