A leading specialist law firm is seeking an International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal to join its busy London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with experience in immigration, international protection, arbitration or human rights to join a highly respected team. Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will support a varied caseload while developing your expertise in complex international and public law matters.

The International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal's Role

The successful International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support across a broad range of international protection and arbitration matters.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting legal correspondence, witness statements and court documents
  • Preparing Home Office, Tribunal and Court applications
  • Managing electronic and paper case files
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and government bodies
  • Attending client meetings, conferences and hearings, taking detailed attendance notes
  • Preparing bundles and supporting documentation
  • Monitoring deadlines and maintaining accurate case management records
  • Assisting with legal research and case preparation
  • Supporting AML, compliance and client onboarding procedures
  • Contributing to business development through networking and legal articles
The International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal
  • At least 6 months' paralegal experience within immigration, litigation, arbitration or human rights
  • Law degree, GDL, LPC or SQE qualification
  • Strong drafting and legal research skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong client care and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of Home Office procedures, international arbitration or human rights work would be advantageous
