As an Events Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the production and delivery of our client's regional events, including technical tours and seminars. You will take ownership of events in the North, South West, and East Anglia, ensuring they are executed flawlessly from start to finish.

Duties:


  • Event Coordination: Manage a range of regional events to budget, including logistics, venue liaison, delegate bookings, and on-site operations.
  • Content Creation: Provide engaging content for the organisation's website and marketing materials to effectively publicise events.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with email triage, vendor liaison, and logistics management to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Budget Management: Create and track budgets for each event while providing feedback on expenditures in monthly reports.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to coordinate the delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from conception to completion, developing detailed timelines and coordinating objectives.
  • Book accommodations and travel for speakers as necessary.
  • Participate in committee meetings, taking minutes and contributing to discussions as needed.
  • Collect post-event feedback to assess success and areas for improvement.


What We're Looking For:


  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in coordinating a variety of events, either in-house or for an event management company.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for copywriting and editing.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit, ready to work across teams and contribute to collective goals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is desirable, along with knowledge of email design.
