As a Personal Assistant to the Deputy Head in an education setting, you'll manage daily schedules, organise meetings, and ensure smooth communication across the team. This role is key to keeping everything running efficiently and supporting the Deputy Head effectively

Description

  • Manage the Deputy Head's diary, ensuring appointments and commitments are well-organised.
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes as required.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and calls on behalf of the Deputy Head.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Support with the planning and organisation of events or projects as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Deputy Head and related teams.
  • Ensure tasks and deadlines are prioritised effectively to support the Deputy Head's objectives.

Profile

A successful Personal Assistant to the Deputy Head should have:

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience managing schedules, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to tasks and challenges.

Job Offer

  • Permanent position within a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Salary randing from £35,000 - £36,800 dependent on the level of experience.
  • 30 hours of work available over school holidays and 40 hours during term time.
