Housekeeper/Cook - #2117548

Tiger Private is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to support a UHNW Principal at a beautifully run private residence in St John's Wood. This is a wonderful opportunity for a career housekeeper looking for a long-term position within a warm, respectful and highly professional household. The property is fully staffed, including two additional housekeepers, a full-time chef and drivers, therefore the successful candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively as part of an established and well-functioning team.

The residence comprises six bedrooms and is occupied primarily by one Principal, with occasional visits from family members.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping to an exceptional standard
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
• Assisting with household organisation and presentation
• Supporting the full-time chef with meal preparation when required
• Preparing simple meals and light cooking in the chef's absence
• Assisting with table setting and informal service when needed
• Maintaining household inventories and supplies
• Working closely with other household staff to ensure the smooth running of the residence
• Supporting the Principal and wider household with ad hoc requests as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working within a UHNW private household is essential, minimum 5 years
• Strong housekeeping skills with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy home-style meals
• Positive, team-oriented approach
• Discreet, professional and highly trustworthy
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently when required
• Seeking a long-term role and able to demonstrate longevity in previous positions
• Excellent references - essential

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Every other Sat, 10:30am – 3:30pm Accommodation: Self-contained annex accommodation with private entrance. Live out option is also available.
Salary: £45K- £50K
