Risk Systems Developer - #2118046

A commodities focused Alternative Investment fund is looking to hire an Risk Systems Developer to join their business. This is a key hire that will focus on the continued development of the risk systems.

Candidates should have strong Python coding skills alongside proficiency in SQL, The ability to manage relationships both internally and externally is a must.

This role is full time, 5-days a week, in the office.

Duties & Experience required include:

1. 3–5 years in software development, data engineering, ops technology, risk technology, or similar.
2. Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and control-oriented workflows.
3. Proficient in database querying, ideally MySQL and AWS-hosted databases.
4. Strong analytical academic background and structured problem-solving approach.
5. Interest in or knowledge of commodity markets, derivatives, trading operations, or investment management is a plus.
6. Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately under pressure.
