BD Specialist - M&A & Private Equity - #2118171

Are you a Business Development professional looking to work at the heart of one of the world's leading corporate practices?

We're recruiting for a Business Development Specialist to support high-profile M&A and Private Equity teams within an international law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative BD function, working alongside senior lawyers and business development leaders to help drive strategic growth across EMEA.

The Role

You'll support a wide range of business development initiatives, from preparing winning pitches and credentials to coordinating client targeting campaigns, market research and high-profile events. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, communications, digital and competitive intelligence, you'll play a key role in raising the profile of the practice and supporting client development activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tailored pitches, RFP responses, award submissions and credentials.
• Support client targeting, cross-selling initiatives and strategic business plans.
• Conduct market, competitor and client research to identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate seminars, webinars and client events alongside specialist teams.
• Maintain CRM and experience management systems, ensuring accurate BD information.
• Collaborate with teams across PR, marketing, digital and content on integrated campaigns.

About You

You'll have at least three years' business development experience within a professional services environment, ideally within a corporate law firm. Experience supporting M&A and/or Private Equity teams would be highly advantageous.

You'll be commercially aware, highly organised and an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills. Comfortable managing multiple priorities, you'll enjoy building relationships across the business and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team.
