Maintenance Operative

North London | £34,000 + Benefits | Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Looking for a role where no two days are quite the same?

We're recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join a brand-new residential development in North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical, hands-on maintenance or handyman professional to join the site at an exciting stage and play a key role in keeping the development running smoothly as it grows.

What will you be doing?

A real mix of hands-on maintenance and day-to-day site support, including:

• General handyman & minor repairs
• Painting, decorating & touch-ups
• Minor plastering, drilling & repairs
• Communal area upkeep & bulk waste
• Routine building & maintenance checks
• Supporting contractors on site
• Recording maintenance & compliance checks
• Responding to resident queries

This is not a specialist trade role. You don't need to be a qualified electrician or plumber. We're looking for someone who is genuinely practical, can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in getting things done properly.

What we're looking for...

You'll ideally have experience in maintenance, facilities, handyman work, property, construction or a similar practical environment.

Most importantly, you'll be:

• Hands-on and confident with general repairs

• Comfortable with painting and decorating

• Proactive and able to work independently

• Professional and confident around residents

• Comfortable dealing with contractors

• IT literate and happy using digital systems

• Reliable, organised and detail-focused

• Naturally customer-service minded
