About the Role
A well-established and fast-growing fire safety specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fire alarm engineer seeking long-term stability, varied work across London and the Southeast, and strong earning potential within a supportive and professional business.
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of fire safety systems across a wide range of commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems and associated fire safety equipment
- Attend reactive callouts to diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Install and commission new fire alarm systems
- Complete accurate digital service reports and recommendations
- Participate in a call-out rota (approximately 1 in 6 weeks)
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current health & safety standards
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong background in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, and installation
- Confident completing reports using tablets or mobile devices
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience with emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Knowledge of multiple fire alarm systems
- Experience in commercial environments
