We are currently recruiting for Graduate Teaching Assistants to join supportive and welcoming secondary schools in Orpington.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, psychology, youth work, education or a related field. You'll gain valuable experience working directly with students while developing your classroom and communication skills.
The RoleAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you may be involved in:
- Supporting students aged 11-18 in the classroom
- Working alongside teachers to support learning
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support
- Helping students stay engaged and focused
- Supporting students with their academic development
- Assisting with pastoral and wider school activities
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- A degree or equivalent qualification
- A genuine interest in working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, enthusiastic and supportive approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- Gain valuable experience in a secondary school environment
