Yardi Consultant - Investment Management & Accounting - #2120217

Cobalt is partnering with a global real estate technology consultancy specialising in the Yardi platform to appoint a Yardi Consultant - Investment Management & Accounting.

The business supports real estate organisations internationally and is investing in its Investment Management capability as demand grows across the UK and Europe.

This is an opportunity to join an international team of Yardi specialists, working remotely from the UK while collaborating with experienced Investment Management professionals in the US and colleagues globally.

The role and responsibilities

You will:

• Support Yardi implementations, configuration, optimisation, testing, training and ongoing advisory work.
• Understand clients' investment structures, accounting processes and reporting requirements, translating these into effective Yardi solutions.
• Apply property and fund accounting knowledge to system configuration and process improvement.
• Review existing systems and processes to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support data conversion, validation, reconciliation and migration activities.
• Build client relationships and work with colleagues across the UK, Europe, US and APAC.

The skills and experience required

• Strong working knowledge of Yardi, including Yardi Voyager and its core accounting functionality.
• Working knowledge of property accounting and fund or investment accounting.
• Client-facing or stakeholder-facing experience within consulting, systems, implementation or support.
• An understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, general ledger processes and accounting controls.
• Experience translating accounting or operational requirements into system configurations, workflows or reports.
• Clear communication and analytical skills.
