Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment
Senior Pricing Analyst - 12 Month FTC

London | Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office
£80,000 + benefits

A fast-growing, purpose-led e-commerce business is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join its expanding Analytics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The business is undergoing an exciting period of growth and investment, with data and analytics playing an increasingly important role in how they operate. This role will be central to shaping and improving their pricing strategy across the business.

The Role

This is a hands-on role focused initially on pricing analytics across buying and selling, with the opportunity to broaden into wider pricing and commercial analytics over time.

You'll work closely with Commercial, Operations, Product and Technology teams to understand supply and demand, optimise pricing and identify opportunities to improve business performance.

You'll be involved in:

  • Analysing and optimising pricing based on supply and demand

  • Looking at price elasticity, forecasting and predictive modelling

  • Evaluating pricing strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Supporting the transition from rules-based pricing towards more model-led and experimental approaches

  • Creating reporting and visualisations from business data

  • Providing clear, commercially relevant insight to senior stakeholders

  • Presenting findings and recommendations, including to Board-level stakeholders

  • Challenging existing analysis and approaches where appropriate

You won't necessarily be expected to build complex models from scratch, but you'll need strong statistical knowledge and the ability to understand, validate and challenge analytical approaches.

About You

We're looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst who is:

  • Strong technically, with experience in pricing analytics, forecasting, regression, predictive modelling or price elasticity

  • Comfortable getting hands-on with data and analysis

  • Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of how analytics can influence business decisions

  • Confident communicating complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making

  • Proactive and entrepreneurial, with a willingness to get stuck in

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Customer-focused and able to connect analysis back to commercial outcomes

  • Naturally curious and willing to challenge existing ways of working

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to take genuine ownership of pricing strategy within a growing, data-driven business, working closely with senior stakeholders and having a direct impact on commercial decisions.
