Investment Banking Associate (M&A) | Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) | London

A leading global investment bank is looking to hire an Associate 1 or Associate 2 to join its highly active Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) team in London.

The team has a strong presence across the European market and advises on a broad range of M&A, strategic advisory and infrastructure-related transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain exposure to complex, high-profile deals while working alongside senior bankers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure sector
• Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books and investment committee materials
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage key transaction workstreams
• Work closely with senior team members and clients throughout the deal lifecycle
• Support business development and originate ideas across the sector

Requirements

• Associate 1 or Associate 2 currently working within Investment Banking
• Strong European transaction experience, ideally with significant M&A exposure
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and hit the ground running
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Open-minded on bank background; candidates from a range of institutions are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
