The Opportunity

As a Vice President, you will play a key role in delivering strategic advice and transaction support to real estate clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, helping clients manage financial risks, optimise capital structures, and execute derivative strategies aligned with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Advise clients on derivative products and risk management solutions, primarily relating to interest rate and foreign exchange exposures, with additional exposure to inflation and commodity risks where relevant.
  2. Support the development and implementation of hedging strategies that align with clients' debt portfolios and risk management objectives.
  3. Analyse financial portfolios and market exposures, providing quantitative and qualitative insights to support decision-making.
  4. Structure, model, and evaluate derivative transactions to achieve specific client outcomes.
  5. Manage transaction processes and documentation, liaising with legal, execution, and risk teams to ensure efficient delivery.
  6. Produce and present market updates, investment committee materials, board presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  7. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of engagements.
  8. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a high standard of client service and successful transaction execution.
Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with professionals who possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience within financial risk advisory, derivatives, treasury, capital markets, debt advisory, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
  2. A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  3. Strong knowledge of derivative products, financial modelling, and risk management principles.
  4. Experience structuring, analysing, pricing, or executing hedging and capital markets transactions.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and experience working with complex financial datasets.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong commercial awareness and relationship management skills.
  9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Experience
  1. Exposure to real estate finance, real estate debt, or property investment markets.
  2. Advanced quantitative or statistical modelling experience.
  3. Additional European language capabilities.
  4. Experience with financial analytics or risk management platforms.
