Live Recruitment

Hybrid, 2-3 days in office - Few corporate events roles at this level offer genuine ownership across two distinct delivery channels at once. This Senior Event Manager position sits inside a London agency in active growth, trusted by some of the most recognisable names in the technology sector.

If your background sits under the title of Senior Project Manager or Senior Account Manager rather than Senior Event Manager, that is absolutely fine. The profile matters more than the label here.

- Full ownership of £250k+ project budgets on high-profile tech sector events

- Structured leadership development through an internal learning forum and mentoring culture

- A portfolio spanning large-scale conferences to bespoke corporate events for global blue-chip clients

- 40% travel, taking city-level lead on multi-city programmes with real autonomy

- Clear progression in a business actively building its senior team

The Company

This is a B2B events and experience agency operating across the UK and US, delivering corporate events and event production at genuine scale. The London office sits within a wider group managing some of the most complex tech sector events in the market. They promote from within, back ideas from the team, and are currently in a strategic hiring phase designed to bring a Senior Event Manager into a business building seniority, not filling gaps.

The Role

The Senior Event Manager will take ownership across two distinct delivery channels, working closely with the wider events management team on high-profile corporate events in the technology sector.

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex B2B corporate events across EMEA

- Own full budget accountability including forecasting and financial reconciliation on projects up to £250k

- Take city-level lead responsibility on multi-city tour and roadshow programmes

- Manage senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships across complex accounts

- Lead cross-functional teams, suppliers and freelancers across the full project lifecycle

- Mentor and develop more junior team members within the events management function

The Candidate

The right Senior Event Manager will have a strong track record of leading complex B2B events delivery in an agency environment, with genuine accountability for commercial performance, senior client relationships and on-the-ground teams. Candidates currently working as a Senior Project Manager or Senior Account Manager in the UK agency market are equally encouraged to apply.

- Agency-side experience delivering complex B2B events across EMEA

- Strong programme management background, including multi-city tours or roadshows

- Proven budget accountability covering forecasting and financial reconciliation

- Confident managing senior client stakeholders and cross-functional supplier teams

- Experience mentoring or developing junior team members

A background specifically in the technology sector is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is operational discipline, commercial acumen and a solutions-focused approach to managing multiple priorities at pace, alongside genuine motivation to grow within a business that is growing around you.

In return, you will step into a Senior Event Manager role with real influence, a blue-chip project portfolio and a business investing in its people. Interviews are being arranged now, so if this reads like the right next move, get your application in.

Live specialises in all disciplines (and at all levels) across events, experiential and exhibitions, live communications, production and creative services. If this position is not quite right but you are looking for a new opportunity, please get in touch to discuss other options.

Live values diversity and promotes equality across our business. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of background, and we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you may need throughout the process.
