What role will you play?

As a Manager within the EMEA Business and Balance Sheet Strategy team, reporting into Group Treasury, you will take ownership of capital and liquidity management activities across multiple regulated entities, helping to shape strategic decisions that support sustainable growth and resilience. Working closely with colleagues across Group Treasury, Finance, Risk Management Group, Macquarie Asset Management and Macquarie Capital, you will lead the development of capital and liquidity frameworks, contribute to forecasting and stress testing activities, and oversee key regulatory deliverables, including Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment processes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide technical expertise on prudential matters, influence senior stakeholders, and help drive effective balance sheet management across the region focused our non-bank entities under IFPR / MIFIDPRU rules.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.

What you offer

  • 3-6 years' experience in finance, treasury, risk, capital management or a related discipline, with direct Treasury experience or knowledge of Treasury functions highly regarded.
  • A degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, actuarial studies, risk management or a related field, with a professional qualification considered advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of capital and liquidity management, forecasting, regulatory frameworks, stress testing or related financial management disciplines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly, influence outcomes and balance competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning and analytical skills, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel capability and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within defined timelines.
