Role: Speech and Language Therapist can be 3 days as well Need to fill asap

Commitment:2 days per week (term time) Sept start dates.

SEND Provision

  • Strong SEND leadership team, including three SENDCOs.
  • Focus on early identification and meeting need as quickly as possible.
  • Collaborative approach with families, school staff and external professionals.
  • Established systems and processes already in place.

Speech & Language Therapy Role

  • 2 days per week, term time.
  • Opportunity to support a varied mainstream caseload.
  • Mix of assessments, direct therapy, reviews and staff liaison.
  • Contribute to EHCP provision and annual reviews where required.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to embed communication strategies within the classroom.
  • Opportunity to advise on whole-school communication-friendly practice.

Support Available

  • Supportive and knowledgeable SEND team.
  • Positive attitude towards Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Therapy is already well embedded within the school’s SEND provision.
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary working.
