SC Cleared Network Engineer

Day rate: £450 - 475 pay (Inside IR35)

Onsite 5 days per week - London

SC Clearance must be active and used within last 12 months

Our leading services client urgently requires a highly accomplished, UK based SC Cleared Network Engineer to work on a Control Room set up project.

There is an engineering team in place, however this person will be working autonomously and needs to be confident.

Role responsibilities include:

• Cisco switches and firewall setup, including rules
• Configure Palo Alto, VPN set up, work with the server team and 3rd parties (Mitel)
• Configuration and management of Cisco network switches
• Configuration and administration of Palo Alto firewalls
• Creation, implementation and testing of firewall rules and security policies
• VPN design, configuration and troubleshooting
• Supporting and maintaining on-premise server infrastructure
• Working closely with internal Server Infrastructure teams
• Coordinating with external third parties, including Mitel telephony providers
• Troubleshooting network, connectivity and security issues across the estate
• Supporting a mixed infrastructure environment where servers are hosted on-prem rather than in the cloud
• Servers hosted onsite

Live project - 3 months initially. Project due to conclude April 2027 so high potential of renewals until then.
