Hire Purpose
Membership & CRM Administrator – Temporary Contract
Remote – anywhere in the UK
Full-time preferred | 3–4 weeks initially, with potential to extend
Start: ASAP
Hourly rate: [£15.38]
An established membership body with charity status are seeking an experienced and highly organised Membership & CRM Administrator to provide short-term support within its Membership Team.
This is an opportunity for someone with a solid background in administration, customer service, and CRM management. You’ll be stepping into a busy, member-focused role within a respected membership organisation that prides itself on its person-centred approach to engaging and assisting its members.
With the team working fully remotely, you can be based anywhere in the UK.
We are looking for someone who is available from the start of September who will get up to speed quickly and confidently, with the ability to develop productive relationships with both members and colleagues. You will also help maintain data accuracy and information across its membership system.
Working closely with the Membership Team, you’ll provide first-line administrative support to members and help ensure they receive a responsive, professional and positive experience.
Full training and guidance will be provided on Oomi, so previous experience of this particular platform isn’t essential. What matters is that you’re comfortable learning new systems and have experience working with CRM or database platforms.
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys getting things organised, takes pride in accuracy and is comfortable communicating directly with customers, members and colleagues.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring:
- Experience working within a customer service, membership or member-support environment.
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using a CRM, membership database or similar system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence responding directly to members, customers and other stakeholders.
- Good numerical skills and a comfortable level of financial literacy.
- Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office and Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a remote environment.
- A collaborative, dependable and customer-focused approach.
Experience within a charity, membership body or wider voluntary/not-for-profit organisation would be particularly valuable.
Above all, you’ll be approachable, trustworthy and willing to roll your sleeves up and support the wider team wherever needed.
