We are looking for a commercially minded Client Development Lead to join our Risk & Analytics team in London. This role will help drive growth by connecting Willis's sector teams, brokers and client-facing colleagues with the right Risk & Analytics expertise and solutions. You will play a key role in identifying client opportunities, developing sector-focused propositions and enabling colleagues to have stronger commercial conversations with clients. Working across multiple teams and industry sectors, you will turn market and client needs into practical opportunities that support revenue growth and strengthen our client proposition. This is a highly collective role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into action.

The Role:

Client & Sector Development
- Partner with Willis sector leaders and client-facing teams to identify priority clients, emerging risk themes and opportunities for Risk & Analytics.
- Develop sector-focused messaging, credentials, case studies and client materials that clearly demonstrate our capabilities and solutions.
- Support sector meetings, client forums, workshops and campaigns, ensuring actions and opportunities are followed through.
- Translate client and market insights into practical recommendations and opportunities for the wider business.

Opportunity & Pipeline Development
- Identify, qualify and help progress Risk & Analytics opportunities across the client portfolio.
- Work closely with brokers, client advocates and relationship owners to connect client needs with the right R&A capabilities and specialists.
- Coordinate pursuit activity, client presentations, proposals and follow-up actions.
- Maintain visibility of pipeline activity, ownership, next steps and progress through to conversion.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and broader client engagement across Risk & Analytics.

Commercial Enablement
- Develop compelling materials and tools that help client-facing colleagues understand when and how to engage Risk & Analytics.
- Support internal growth campaigns that increase awareness and adoption of R&A solutions.
- Provide concise insight and reporting on sector engagement, pipeline activity and commercial outcomes.
- Identify recurring client and market themes that can inform proposition development and future growth priorities.

Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across CRB, sector teams, FINEX, Health & Benefits, Claims, Placement and other relevant business areas.
- Act as a trusted point of contact, helping colleagues navigate R&A capabilities and connect with the appropriate specialists.
- Work confidently with stakeholders at different levels and across multiple teams and sectors.
- Manage multiple priorities and workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, quality outputs and timely follow-up.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in insurance, risk consulting, professional services, client development, sales enablement or a related commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance, risk management, analytics or broking environments.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and turn client needs into practical solutions.
  • Skilled clear and concise communication, including the ability to develop compelling client-facing materials and presentations.
  • Experience supporting business development, pipeline management, proposals, pursuits or growth initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to challenge, follow up and keep activity moving.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, practical and commercially relevant messages.
