This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Economics, Finance, Business, or related degree graduate looking to build a long-term career within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Investment Management. You will gain exposure to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients while developing a broad understanding of investment services, client relationship management, regulatory requirements, and wealth planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Support Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional service to clients across a range of wealth management and banking solutions.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients, including suitability assessments, account opening procedures, and AML/KYC checks.
- Ensure all client activities are conducted in accordance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and applicable legal requirements.
- Handle client enquiries promptly and professionally, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of client accounts, including payments, cash management, reporting, and account maintenance.
- Prepare client meeting materials, presentations, portfolio information, and annual review documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems, internal databases, and management reports.
- Support the monitoring of account fees and help resolve any discrepancies or excess charges.
- Conduct market, investment, and client-specific research to support Relationship Managers in client discussions and reviews.
- Help coordinate client meetings, events, travel arrangements, and other relationship management activities.
- Work collaboratively with investment, operations, compliance, and banking teams to ensure seamless client service.
- Assist in the delivery of a holistic wealth management service through the preparation of account statements, trade confirmations, and other client communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Previous internship, placement year, or work experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, Investment Management, Financial Advisory, or Financial Services.
- Strong interest in financial markets, investments, and wealth management.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
