The Company

This is a mid-size events group combining venue operations, premium catering and an agency arm, all working in close collaboration. The venues division runs a busy programme of corporate and consumer events year-round, with in-house production and catering teams on hand for every event. People tend to stay, the social calendar is genuine, the team are collaborative and passionate and the events portfolio is one not to be missed.

The Role

As Event Operations Manager within the venue, you will manage a portfolio of more than 80 clients at a large London venue, taking each event from contract through to post-event reporting and working closely with in-house catering and production teams to make it happen.

- Manage client relationships across a diverse portfolio of 80+ events

- Coordinate event planning from contracting through to post-event reporting

- Liaise with in-house catering, production and venue operations teams

- Be on-site to oversee events through to completion

- Support seasonal event programmes at a second London venue

- Maintain high client retention through strong account management

The Candidate

The right Event Operations Manager will have managed client relationships and coordinated complex events within a sizeable venue. Strong attention to detail in planning and administration, solid knowledge of catering and venue operations, and confident client-facing communication are what this role requires.

A background in venue management and event management at a similar level is the right fit here. Experience across a variety of event formats, whether conferences, experiential or dinners, would be beneficial but is not essential. What matters most is a calm, organised approach and the flexibility this venue based Event Operations Manager role demands.
