  • Lead and develop a team of capital analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Take ownership of the ongoing use and governance of the internal capital model.
  • Support model development initiatives, enhancements and validation activities.
  • Lead parameterisation exercises, ensuring assumptions remain appropriate and well documented.
  • Deliver capital reporting for internal and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Support business planning, reinsurance optimisation and strategic decision making through capital analysis.
  • Work closely with Risk, Actuarial and Finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across capital processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and committees.
Requirements
  • Qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong capital modelling experience within the insurance market.
  • Experience of internal model use, parameterisation and model development.
  • Strong understanding of Solvency II / regulatory capital frameworks.
  • Previous management or mentoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
