As a Senior Procurement Manager within the not-for-profit sector, you'll lead procurement activities to ensure value for money and compliance with regulations. Your role will be central to managing supplier relationships and supporting the organisation's operational needs.

Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to align with organisational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes.
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members within the procurement and supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Senior Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Experience in preparing detailed procurement reports for stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
