Contentious Probate Solicitor – Legal 500 Firm – Southwest London

A respected Legal 500 firm in Southwest London is seeking to appoint a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its growing private wealth disputes team. This is a newly created position due to ongoing success and increasing demand, not a replacement hire.

The firm is well known for its genuinely supportive and approachable culture, something not always associated with litigation teams. You’ll be joining a collaborative and high-performing department with an excellent reputation for the quality of its work and client service.

You’ll take on a busy and varied caseload, with plenty of work available. You’ll also play a key role in the team’s continued growth, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to business development initiatives.

The team handles a broad range of complex private wealth disputes, including:

• Disputed wills
• Inheritance Act claims
• Trust disputes
• Equitable claims
• Court of Protection matters

About you:

• 5+ PQE with strong experience in contentious wills, trusts and estates
• Confident managing your own caseload independently
• ACTAPS qualification (or an interest in working towards it)
• Commercially aware with an interest in contributing to team growth
