Paralegal - Marine - #2124010

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join the London office of an established international shipping group.

Working closely with and reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, this is a broad in-house role offering exposure to a range of shipping, corporate and commercial matters.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Drafting and reviewing shipping and commercial contracts, including R&Rs, NDAs, management agreements and sale & purchase documentation
• Supporting shipping transactions and reviewing associated documentation
• Assisting with due diligence and compliance
• Legal research and contract management
• Working closely with teams across the wider international business
• Liaising with and supporting external legal counsel where required

We are looking for someone with an LLB or equivalent and ideally around 1–2 years' paralegal experience within a corporate team in private practice. Previous shipping or maritime experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

This could be a particularly good move for someone currently working within a law firm who is looking to gain hands-on in-house experience within the international shipping sector, with direct exposure to senior legal leadership and the wider commercial business.
