Senior Claims Adjuster - #2124039

We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster, Credit, Political Risk & Crisis Management on behalf of an extremely well-regarded London Market Insurer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and processing claims, using analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement in the management and use of TPAs and third-party experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing complex and disputed claims matters, including in-depth claims analysis and trends.
• Managing estimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers and resolving any discrepancies.
• Identifying and investigating coverage issues.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives via process and/or technology change.
• Partnering with colleagues to perform data analysis work, providing valuable insights that improve claims performance.
• Ensuring claims files are compiled and maintained in a logical and accessible manner.
• Supporting the development of relationships with internal and external customers.
• Providing mentoring and career development to colleagues.

Key Requirements

• Extensive and relevant knowledge of technical claims handling in a claims function, operating in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of delegated and third-party claims management from a technical, commercial, and operational perspective.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to produce MI and detailed reports at various levels.
• Experience and a proven track record of working in a claims environment within a specialised/complex claims area.
• Recognised qualification(s) and/or good practical knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework.
• Relevant commercial experience of the general insurance industry and claims trends to be able to provide expert advice and opinion where required.
