Are you looking to take the next step in your finance career and gain valuable experience within a leading law firm environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Finance team on a long-term FTC, supporting the Revenue function and gaining hands-on exposure to the full billing and revenue cycle. Reporting directly to the Revenue Manager, you’ll become an integral part of the team and a key point of contact for billing enquiries, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence and commercial understanding in a specialist environment.
This is a fantastic role for someone looking to strengthen their experience across Legal Finance, Revenue Control and billing operations. You’ll support Revenue Controllers with preparing and processing bills, credit notes and transfers, review billing information for accuracy, assist with WIP and matter administration, and contribute to month-end reporting and deadlines. You’ll also gain exposure to client account administration, billing queries, revenue processes and the systems and controls that underpin a successful legal finance function - providing an excellent platform for your next career move.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, the role offers genuine scope to learn, develop and broaden your finance skill set. You’ll receive training on billing procedures, finance systems, client requirements and internal revenue controls, while working alongside experienced professionals and supporting ad hoc revenue projects and process improvements. Whether you’re already working in finance, billing, accounts or professional services administration, or are keen to move further into Legal Finance, this long-term contract can give you the footing, exposure and specialist experience needed to progress within Revenue Management, Billing or Finance Operations.
You’ll also benefit from a hybrid working model, with a general pattern of three days office-based and two days remote where the role is compatible with home working, alongside a strong package of employee benefits including 26 days’ holiday, life assurance at five times salary, pension contributions, private medical insurance after six months, wellbeing support, fitness and lifestyle benefits, and flexible holiday options. If you’re organised, detail-focused, confident communicating with stakeholders and keen to build a long-term career within Legal Finance and Revenue Control, this is an opportunity well worth exploring.
