The Role

Sitting within the Operational Risk Controls & Governance team, you will support the implementation of the UK Third Party and Outsourcing strategy. You will collaborate with cross-border stakeholders to manage outsourcing and third-party risk while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and enterprise policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Risk Assessments: Assist business owners in identifying outsourced relationships, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring governance compliance.
  3. Register Management: Maintain and update the outsourcing and third-party register in a timely manner, ensuring proper contracts and SLAs are in place.
  4. Reporting & Escalation: Escalate material issues to key stakeholders and develop, publish, and present reports for outsourced activities to risk committees.
  5. Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders on project initiatives to remediate any identified gaps or issues.

This role could be right for you if you have:

  2. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory landscape facing global banks, with prior experience in banking, consulting, or regulatory institutions.
  3. Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and experience analysing and implementing complex regulatory requirements.
  4. Soft Skills: An effective communicator and self-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills, a risk-managed focus, and the ability to operate in large, complex environments.
