Child Protection Advisor (Conference Chair) - Brent Council - part-time role (18 hours) - #2126457

Our client, Brent Council, is seeking one FULL-TIME and one PART-TIME Child Protection Advisor to chair Child Protection Conferences.

These roles are temporary ongoing and will last until at least March 2027.

Both paid at £45.20.

Full-time role: 36 hours

Part-time role: 18 hours

The role will involve the following:

• Child Protection Chair role
• Chairing initial and review meetings
• A mix of hybrid meetings - initial or very complex conferences are hybrid - usually the CPA, the SW and the parents in the office (both Civic Centre and Willesden Library); and all reviews, unless complex, are done as online meetings.
• Hybrid working

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have experience as a CP Chair or IRO
