As a Pay & Reward Advisor in London, you'll focus on supporting the public sector's human resources department with pay and reward processes. This temporary role ensures smooth operations by managing key tasks and providing expert advice.

An organisation based in London operating within the public sector.

Description

  • Act as a first point of contact for pay and reward queries, managing the shared mailbox, providing clear guidance on relevant policies and ensuring requests are prioritised and responded to appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and trackers relating to pay and reward activity, including business cases and other documentation required for governance, reporting and audit purposes.
  • Undertake job evaluation across a broad range of roles and levels, applying the organisation's chosen methodology consistently.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support across the Employee Relations portfolio, including organising meetings, preparing relevant materials and taking accurate minutes where required.
  • Contribute to wider reward and benefits initiatives, including the ongoing administration and development of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), pension communications and related employee-facing activities.
  • Help improve and maintain the organisation's intranet content relating to pay, reward and benefits, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and kept up to date.
  • Provide flexible support across the wider Pay & Reward function, contributing to projects and priorities as required by the team.


Profile

A successful Pay and Rewards Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar pay and rewards role within the public sector or HR field.
  • Experience with Willis Towers Watson job evaluation frameworks would be advantageous.
  • Pension administration knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with pay data.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in pay and rewards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

Job Offer

  • Day rate: £400 per day Umbrella or £294.70 per day PAYE
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Contract: Temporary position offering flexibility within the public sector
