Through continued growth they are looking to recruit a two Field Deployment Engineers one to cover the Northern Territory and the other to cover Midlands Territory.

This is a FTC until March 2027.

Engineer.

In this role  you will provide dedicated technical deployment support to the wider Field Service Department, delivering planned technology refreshes and infrastructure lifecycle activities across the installed analyser base.  

The role will be responsible for executing field-based activities including Windows operating system upgrades, security patch remediation, system reimaging, IT hardware replacement, software installation and configuration, data migration, and system validation. Working closely with Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, Product Management, and customers, the successful candidate will ensure upgrades and deployments are completed efficiently while maintaining analyser performance and minimising disruption to laboratory operations. 

Your Profile to Shape the Future of Healthcare

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a 2nd Line IT Support or equivalent IT Professional role
  • Extensive experience providing field-based IT support within customer environments 
  • Proven experience in operating system deployment, imaging, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting 
  • Proven experience in PC hardware installation, replacement, commissioning, and support. 
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting 
  • Experience performing data backup, migration, and restoration activities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to support IT infrastructure and end-user technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues. 
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  • Flexible approach to work, with a willingness to travel as required. 
  • Must hold a full driving licence
