Assistant Technical Services Manager – London

A leading international construction contractor is expanding its London technical services team and is looking for an Assistant Technical Services Manager to join ahead of a significant pipeline of major projects.

The business delivers complex construction and fit-out projects across London, with upcoming schemes ranging from major commercial and workplace developments through to high-end hospitality and specialist environments.

With projects typically running into the tens and hundreds of millions, this is an opportunity to work on genuinely substantial schemes with demanding MEP installations and experienced project teams.

The Role

Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, you'll take responsibility for defined areas of the MEP delivery and play a hands-on role in getting the technical package delivered.

You'll be involved in:

• MEP design coordination and technical reviews
• Managing RFIs, technical queries and design development
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Supporting procurement and package management
• Coordinating MEP installation alongside the wider construction team
• Identifying technical issues and driving solutions
• Supporting commissioning, testing and handover

The Opportunity

The immediate pipeline includes major projects across Central London and other key London locations, giving you exposure to large-scale commercial, workplace, hospitality and specialist projects.

You'll work alongside experienced Technical Services and Project Management teams, with genuine responsibility for your own packages and a clear opportunity to progress into a TSM position.

This would suit an experienced ATSM, M&E Project Manager or technically strong M&E professional looking to step into a larger and more complex project environment.
