Introduction
Due to a high volume of activity to meet our targets, Reed on behalf of Cadent Gas is recruiting for a Field Data Asset Surveyor to carry out site visits to carry our pipe data surveys on our customer sites across the London and Home Counties regions.
All training will be provided by Cadent to carry out the site surveys.
Client: Cadent Gas
Length of contract: 6 months
Role: Asset Data Capture Support Surveyor
Location: Pear Tree Street, , Islington, , EC1V 3SB
Hours per week: 37
Pay: £20.15 per hour, Plus an additional £2.90 per hour worked to over vehicle/mileage
Overtime: is 1.5 for Weekends and any hours over 37 per week)
Job Spec:
In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out site visits/surveys to capture and verify asset information relating to gas mains and associated infrastructure. Working closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders, you'll ensure accurate records are collected, maintained and submitted in line with business, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Produce accurate electronic drawings and pipe attribute data of completed works within required timelines.
To apply the company software to survey for any issues in gas mains, that will pick up old redundant pipes
Submit data back to the company using their software
Comply with HSE procedures - use appropriate work equipment and PPE
Organize own week to organise from diary
Software used for the role: You will use GPS devices, iPads, and iPhones to record the locations of new and old pipes, and will be responsible for producing documentation on a laptop for digitisation
Candidate Requirements:
Strong organisation skills
Strong communication skills
Strong IT Skills
Be in good physical heath (due to the role involving lots of walking)
The ability to work alone
A full UK drivers’ licence
