Total Assist Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and motivated Clinical Psychologists to work across a range of exciting opportunities with our private healthcare clients throughout London, Greater London and Essex.
We are recruiting for a variety of specialist mental health services, including inpatient settings, rehabilitation services, CAMHS, eating disorder services, neurodevelopmental services and other therapeutic environments. Opportunities are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with a range of short-term and ongoing locum contracts.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention to service users within specialist healthcare settings.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Undertaking comprehensive psychological assessments
- Developing and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions
- Providing individual, group and family-based therapy where appropriate
- Developing formulation-led care and treatment plans
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care
- Supporting risk assessment and risk management
- Producing high-quality clinical reports and maintaining accurate documentation
- Providing psychological advice and consultation to colleagues and the wider clinical team
- Supporting service development and contributing to best practice
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- A recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology
- Current HCPC registration
- Previous experience working within mental health or a relevant specialist clinical setting
- Experience working with adults, children and young people, or specialist client groups depending on the service
- Strong assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach
