Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality people service, managing complex employee relations matters, supporting organisational change initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Client Details

We are partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation that delivers vital community-based services and support to vulnerable individuals. Due to an internal requirement, they are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their People Team on a fixed-term basis.

Description

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters
  • Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence and probation cases
  • Support long-term sickness absence management, Occupational Health referrals and workplace adjustments
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Support recruitment activity and provide advice on employment matters
  • Deliver training, coaching and guidance to managers
  • Contribute to organisational change, consultation exercises and HR projects
  • Analyse workforce data and produce HR reports to support decision-making
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an effective and professional HR service

Profile

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Not-for-profit experience
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience coaching and advising managers
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate of £23 - £25 Per hour depending on experience
  • Flexible hybrid working model,
  • Short term fixed-term contract with the potential for meaningful contributions to a not-for-profit organisation.
