Contracts Manager – Natural Stone

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum + performance bonus, travel expenses and comprehensive benefits package

Location: London

Position: Full-time, Permanent

A specialist Contracts Manager opportunity with an established natural stone business delivering high-end projects across the luxury residential, hospitality and commercial markets. The successful Contracts Manager will oversee the delivery of natural stone projects across London, working between live sites and coordinating the various elements required to deliver high-quality finishes.

Ideally, you will have a background in natural stone, interiors, construction or a closely related specialist trade, with the commercial awareness and project management experience to manage contracts from start through to completion. The role offers the opportunity to work on premium projects where quality, technical understanding and attention to detail are central to the finished product.

Salary and Package

  • £75,000 - £80,000 per annum

  • Performance bonus

  • Travel expenses

  • Comprehensive benefits package

Location

The role is based in London, with responsibility for projects across the capital and regular travel between live sites as required.

About the Company

The company specialises in natural stone, supplying and installing stone for the luxury residential, hospitality and commercial markets throughout London and further afield. Run by third-generation stone specialists, the business combines longstanding industry experience with a practical and innovative approach to natural stone projects.

Its service covers the full process, from initial ideas and design-stage advice through to the sourcing, supply and installation of natural stone for both interior and exterior applications. The business has built established relationships with quarries worldwide following years of research and has also developed its own range of stones, providing clients with a broad choice to suit different specifications and budgets.

The company's reputation has been built around creating luxury spaces in stone, with clients choosing the business for its specialist knowledge, experience and ability to deliver natural stone as part of a complete project solution.

Why Join Them

For the right Contracts Manager, this is an opportunity to work within a genuinely specialist business where natural stone is the core area of expertise rather than simply one element of a wider construction offering. You will have exposure to premium residential, hospitality and commercial projects across London, with responsibility for coordinating delivery across live sites.

The third-generation background of the business also provides a depth of specialist knowledge and established industry relationships that can be particularly valuable to someone looking to develop their career within the natural stone and high-end interiors sector.

About the Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of natural stone contracts across a portfolio of live London projects. You will coordinate the practical and commercial requirements of each contract, ensuring projects are managed effectively through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing natural stone contracts across multiple live projects.

  • Coordinating project delivery between the business, site teams and relevant project stakeholders.

  • Monitoring progress across live sites and addressing issues as they arise.

  • Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and project standards.

  • Maintaining effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle.

  • Travelling between London sites as required to oversee project delivery.

Candidate Background

The company is ideally looking for a Contracts Manager with a background in natural stone and an understanding of the requirements involved in delivering high-quality specialist projects. Experience within luxury interiors, construction or another closely related environment would also be relevant for the right candidate.

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Proven experience working in a Contracts Manager or similar project delivery role.

  • Ideally, a background in natural stone or a specialist construction/interiors environment.

  • Experience managing projects through to completion.

  • Strong organisational and commercial awareness.

  • The ability to coordinate multiple live projects and site requirements.

  • A professional approach to working with clients, project teams and site personnel.

Summary

This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager who wants to work within a specialist business delivering high-quality natural stone projects rather than a general construction environment. With a varied London project portfolio and a business built around generations of stone expertise, the position offers substantial responsibility within a specialist and established operation.
