Overview

A leading Asset Management firm is seeking a talented Full-Stack C# Developer to join its growing technology team in London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise solutions that underpin investment decision-making, portfolio management, trading, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  2. Build responsive and intuitive web-based user interfaces for front-office and business users.
  3. Develop and integrate APIs, services, and data feeds across multiple platforms.
  4. Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, and operations teams to understand business requirements.
  5. Contribute to the architecture and technical design of new systems and enhancements.
  6. Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  7. Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
  8. Support CI/CD processes and contribute to cloud and DevOps initiatives.
  9. Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
  10. Maintain high standards of software quality, security, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
  2. Experience building modern web applications using technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  3. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
  4. Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
  5. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
Desirable Experience
  1. Previous experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, Hedge Funds, or Financial Services.
  2. Knowledge of portfolio management, trading, market data, risk, performance, or investment operations workflows.
  3. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  4. Exposure to containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  5. Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
  6. Understanding of DevOps tooling and automated deployment pipelines
