Electrical Project Manager - #2131329

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major commercial project within a high-security environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background and experience delivering complex electrical projects.

Candidates who already hold EL2 and/or CLC security clearance are highly desirable.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of electrical works across a complex commercial project, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Electrical Project Manager Key responsibilities:

• Managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Managing electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Coordinating electrical works with other trades and project disciplines.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and resources.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
• Managing variations, risks, technical issues and project documentation.
• Liaising with the client, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards, legislation, H&S requirements and project specifications.
• Leading project meetings and providing regular progress reports.
• Ensuring all site activities comply with the project's security requirements and procedures.

Electrical Project Manager Requirements: 

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial construction.
• A strong understanding of electrical installation and construction processes.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong programme, commercial and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive and organised approach to project delivery.
• Relevant electrical and/or project management qualifications.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of the project, candidates with existing EL2 / CLC security clearance are strongly preferred.
