Client Services Senior Associate - #2132669
Capio Recruitment Financial Planning
Senior Client Service Associate – Wealth Management
London | £38,000–£42,000 + Up to 12% Bonus
A growing Chartered financial planning firm is looking for an experienced Client Service Associate to join its London team.
This position offers greater responsibility than a traditional financial planning administration role. You will take ownership of important client servicing processes, resolve issues independently and provide support to less experienced colleagues.
The Client Service Team has grown from four to nine people following several acquisitions, creating an opportunity for someone experienced to help the team maintain a consistently high standard of service as the business continues to expand.
The role
You will support the firm’s Financial Planners and Paraplanners throughout the client journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing portfolio reports and pre-meeting documentation
- Reviewing and correcting client cash accounts
- Processing fund switches and other servicing activity
- Drafting client correspondence
- Maintaining accurate client information across internal systems
- Managing your own workload and meeting agreed service levels
- Identifying and resolving servicing issues
- Managing expectations across internal stakeholders
- Escalating complex matters appropriately
- Supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced colleagues
- Helping to coordinate workflows and improve existing processes
The position may include some light-touch leadership responsibilities, although it is not a formal team-management role.
What we are looking for
You will already have experience providing client servicing or administrative support within financial services. Experience within wealth management or financial planning would be particularly valuable.
You should have:
- Previous financial services administration or client service experience
- The confidence to take ownership of your work
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to identify and resolve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing competing deadlines
- The ability to support and share knowledge with colleagues
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career with the business
Experience using Intelliflo would be advantageous. Industry qualifications are not essential, although support will be available for someone interested in developing professionally.
The business
The firm is an established Chartered financial planning business with more than £2 billion in assets under advice, 51 Financial Planners and approximately 110 employees.
It has a relatively young workforce, with an average age of approximately 33, and has created a collaborative and ambitious culture centred on developing its people.
Package and working arrangements
- £38,000–£42,000 salary
- Discretionary bonus of up to 12%
- Pension
- Private medical insurance
- Life assurance
- Income protection
- Support with professional qualifications
- Hybrid working following successful completion of probation
