We are looking for experienced PLC / Controls Engineers to support intralogistics and manufacturing projects across the UK.

The Role

• PLC programming, configuration, testing and commissioning of automated material handling and manufacturing systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics across PLC, HMI, controls and automation systems.
• Supporting the commissioning and integration of conveyors, sortation, automated machinery and associated equipment.
• Working from electrical schematics, control panels and technical documentation.
• Software modifications, optimisation and system troubleshooting.
• Supporting site acceptance testing and project handover.
• Working closely with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams.
• Completing technical reports and site documentation.
• Potential UK-wide travel with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PLC / Controls / Automation Engineer.
• Experience within intralogistics, automation, manufacturing or industrial environments is ideal.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or similar PLC platforms.
• Good understanding of industrial automation, controls and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible to travel and work away when required.
