Sterling Williams are working with a City of London based Bank who are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Corporate & Institutional Sales Associate to join their London Financial Markets team.
Corporate & Institutional Sales Associate – Financial Markets
Permanent: full-time
City of London based; 5 days per week in the office
Salary circa £55 – 70,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will contribute to the coverage and development of UK corporate and institutional clients across funding, investment and hedging solutions. The role offers broad exposure to Financial Markets products, including money markets, fixed income, foreign exchange and interest rate solutions.
Working within a small front-office team, the candidate will contribute to client relationship management, business development and liquidity gathering activities, while collaborating closely with Treasury and Trading colleagues. As knowledge and experience develop, there may be opportunities to broaden the scope of the role and gain exposure to additional product areas within Financial Markets.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong interest in financial markets and capital markets products (FX Forwards, Money market Deposits, Interest Rate Swaps, Options)
- Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in business development and relationship management.

Qualifications and experience needed:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferable in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- circa 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Markets, Treasury, Banking, Corporate Banking or a client-facing financial services role.
- You will have a experience and understanding of FX products, Money Market products, and likely Interest Rate Swaps, and Options experience previously.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiasm for working in a client-focused and commercially driven environment.
- Fluent in English, with additional European languages considered an asset.
