We are supporting a leading global advisory consultancy in recruiting an experienced Director - Technology Transformation to join its London practice.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role for someone who combines technology expertise, commercial acumen and consulting experience. You'll lead complex transformation engagements, advise C-suite stakeholders and help organisations generate measurable business value from their technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex Technology & Digital Transformation programmes
• Advise C-suite clients on technology strategy, investment and value creation
• Develop technology strategies, operating models, capabilities and governance
• Lead IT cost optimisation, outsourcing and transformation initiatives
• Deliver technology assessments, re-platforming, rationalisation and consolidation programmes
• Support Technology Due Diligence, M&A, carve-outs and integrations
• Develop target architectures and strategic technology roadmaps
• Lead turnaround programmes for complex or challenged technology initiatives
• Build trusted relationships with senior client executives
• Identify, shape and develop new business opportunities
• Lead and develop high-performing consulting teams
• Build market presence and contribute to new propositions and thought leadership

Experience Required

• Significant experience at Director / senior consulting leadership level
• Strong background within Technology Advisory, Technology Strategy or Transformation
• Ideally a combination of consulting and industry experience
• Expertise across at least two areas including IT Strategy, IT Cost Optimisation, Architecture, Infrastructure & Operations, Software Delivery, Governance or Target Operating Models
• Proven experience leading large and complex transformation engagements
• Strong understanding of technology value creation and commercial drivers
• Experience with technology assessments, strategic architecture and operating model design
• Exposure to M&A, Due Diligence, Carve-Outs or Post-Merger Integration highly desirable
• Strong commercial instincts with experience developing client opportunities
• Excellent C-suite stakeholder management and advisory skills
• Strong financial literacy, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience across Consumer, Retail, TMT or Financial Services would be particularly valuable
• Willingness to travel across EMEA when required
