Mobile Building Maintenance Operative - #2134898

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division is supporting a specialist modular construction company with the recruitment of a Field Based Maintenance Operative to join their Aftercare Team covering a regional patch in London.

The Maintenance Operative is a mobile role that sits within their successful Rental Division reporting into the Aftercare Manager. The Maintenance Operative will ensure that all maintenance issues are carried out in a timely manner on client sites at various locations in the London area. You will be based from home and travel day to day in your very own company van!

Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Operative include:

• General maintenance tasks on the modular building fleet
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed at each job and signatures are received
• Collection of materials from suppliers or company depots as per arrangements
• Assist with installations, uplifts and site surveys as and when required
• Carry out refurbishment work if required
• Attend site meetings / divisional meetings as requested
• Proactively communicate with all customers

Experience, Qualifications & Training for the Maintenance Operative include:

• Good building and maintenance knowledge within general property maintenance
• Key trades experience required – Joinery / Roofing / Plumbing/Electrical etc
• Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of the field based maintenance team
• H&S awareness
• IPAF trained
• PASMA trained
• Ability to prepare RAMs and other associated safety paperwork
• Good communication skills
• Full clean UK driving license
• CSCS card
• DBS cleared or willing to go through process
• Working at Height, including use of access equipment such as MEWPs, Scissor Lifts, Scaffold Towers etc
• Flexible with locations of work all across London
