EXELLENT OPPORTUNITY as a Sales Support is available for those who has strong interests in financial and economic as well as Japan.

Our client is one of major a Japanese media related companies providing financial/economic information on papers and online.

This is an integral role in the Digital Business Department and the job holder involves Client management and Sales activities in Europe and Africa area.

The ideal applicant should have a keen interest in business, finance and international affairs and journalism, and has strong communication skills both in Japanese and English.

Job description:

• Account Management in Europe, Middle East and Africa
• Supporting clients’ queries on all form of communications.
• Building strong network with key persons within the client’s organization.
• Providing training for new and existing clients.
• Distributing products and information/notification related to products to clients.
• Understanding the company’s products and rules.
• Answering queries and demonstrating products and services.
• Assisting in the preparation of materials.
• Taking part in networking events and identify new business leads when General Manager thinks it is necessary.
• Managing progress of sales campaigns at the request of the General Manager.
• Liaising with relevant departments at Tokyo head office and other overseas affiliates for sales.
• Translating reports and documents.
• Updating and maintaining client database.
• Produce monthly report for management use when General Manager thinks it is necessary.
• Preparing legal documents related to clients and partners.
• Monthly invoicing/Credit control

Requirements:

• University graduate (bachelor or equivalent / higher), preferably degree in Economics, Finance or relevant fields
• English and Japanese: native to fluent level
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Confident user of Word, Excel and Power Point and some knowledge of PC and IT systems. Basic programming skills is advantage.
• Some knowledge of Japanese business and culture
• Proven interest in finance, economy and related market information and data
• Presentation skills
• Sales related experience in financial services sector or data vendor service
• Competent knowledge in financial technology or IT technology used in financial institutions

Conditions:

• Salary:£30-33,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Location: London City (Currently working from home)
• Working hour: 9:00 – 17:00
