Client:

One of the world's top quantitative market makers is expanding its Machine Learning and AI capabilities. Already a market leader, the firm has invested extensively in its data, compute and research infrastructure and is continuing to grow the technology underpinning ML across the business.

Operating across multiple asset classes, the firm processes enormous datasets every day, creating challenging engineering problems around ML training, inference and large-scale research workflows.

Role:

You'll join a growing Machine Learning Engineering team building the platforms and infrastructure that allow Researchers and Traders to develop, train, test and deploy ML models efficiently.

This is a role combining strong software engineering with a genuine understanding of Machine Learning and mathematics. You'll work on training and inference infrastructure, improve research and experimentation workflows, build intuitive APIs and tooling, and help move models efficiently from research into production.

You'll work closely with Researchers and Engineers, evaluating new ML approaches and helping determine the right technology for each problem.

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering and Machine Learning experience
  • Experience with ML training/inference infrastructure and taking models into production
  • Strong mathematical foundations and understanding of ML techniques
  • Experience with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow or similar
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Trading experience is not required
