This role has flex to be a Junior Category Manager or Category Manager. It will sit within branded ambient foods, and will play a key role in driving category growth and providing actionable insights within the FMCG industry.

Description

• Analyse market data to identify growth opportunities and trends within the FMCG industry.
• Develop and execute category strategies to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to align category plans with overall business goals.
• Build strong relationships with key retailers and stakeholders to drive category performance.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
• Prepare and present category performance reports to senior management.
• Manage category budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Support the development of innovative solutions to address consumer needs in London and beyond.

Profile

As the role is open to junior category managers or category managers:

• Junior:
  • Open to candidates from a sales, buying, category or analytical background
  • Commerciality must be demonstrated but transferable skills are preferred over previous role
  • Open to candidates outside of FMCG
• Category Manager
  • To be considered at Category Manager level previous FMCG experience is required
  • Open to sales, category, buying or analytical backgrounds
• The role is 5 days a week in London

Job Offer

• A competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
