We are currently recruiting Western Punjabi (Pahari, Pothwari, Mirpuri, or Hindko) speakers to participate in a Paid Language Study that will be used to improve voice recognition technologies for virtual assistants.

What participants will do

Participants will take part in a recorded conversation with another person while wearing earbuds. The discussion is guided with prompts and designed to feel natural and engaging, covering everyday topics such as hobbies, shopping, weather, or general opinions.

Join with a friend

This study is conducted in pairs, so members are encouraged to sign up with a friend, classmate, or partner. This makes the experience more enjoyable and both participants, each will receive a compensation of $170 USD upon successful completion. Participants who register with someone they know will be prioritized for scheduling.

Eligibility requirements

• Be 18 years or older.
• Have idiomatic fluency in Western Punjabi (Pahari, Pothwari, Mirpuri, or Hindko).
• Be available to attend an onsite session in London.
• Be comfortable participating in a recorded conversation.

Location & Duration

• The session lasts up to 2.5 hours
• It takes place at our centrally located office in London (full details shared upon selection confirmation).

Compensation: Each participant will receive $170 USD for successful participation.
